Netball!

Hey guys

Today I'm just gonna tell you about one of my favorite things like ever!

Netball!

If anyone is reading this that doesnt know what netball is im just gonna go over a few key points about the game!

- There is seven players in each team
- Its a non contact sport
- There are 2 shooters
- Everyone has different positions where they can go in different places of the court

That's not really a good explantation but thats just a few key points!

There are seven positions!

Center- is like the main person of the team who can go nearly everywhere on the court.
Wing attack- is like a substitute center that can go less places on the court
Wing defense- marks the wing attack to stop them form getting the ball from centre
Goal attack-is a shooter but also helps the wing attack
Goal defense- marks the goal attack especially when they are trying to shoot
Goal shooter- helps the goal attack when shooting, they can go in as much as the court
Goal keeper- marks the goal shooter when theyre shooting and protects the goal

I play goal attack!

Netball sounds really confusing but it takes a bit of time! I train 2 or 3 times a week but I enjoy it so much!

I highly recommend netball to anyone that wants to try something new!

Review: Simple kind to skin light moisturiser

Hey guys,

Today I'm gonna do a review on the simple kind to skin light moustiriser  I bought this in savers for about £1.99.



I use it last in my skincare routine. (Comment if you would like a skincare post in more detail.) It makes my face really soft and hydrated and I really enjoy using it.



However, it made my skin come up in small red spots like a rash down the sides of my nose and on my forehead like a little allergic reaction. I have discontinued my use of this as it made me come up in a rash.

Whats on my iphone!

Hey guys, sorry this post didn't go up last Sunday but I didn't have time last week. Thjs post is about whats on my iphone. I have a white iphone 4s. I use it every day and I love it. It is also quite inexpensive becuase it is quite old.

Im gonna start with the apps that come with the phone, I don't have lots of apps as I don't have very much storage, I also still have ios7 as i don't have enough storage left for ios8. 

Messages- texts 

Calendar- Dont really use very much

Photos- Where all my pictures are stored

Camera- Use a lot!

Weather- Dont use very much but helpful

Maps- Never actually used

Videos- Have a few but again dont really use

Notes-Helpful for storing blog ideas and other little things

Clock- Use for my alarm and since my cousion lives in Australia I like to check

Passbook- again ?

App store- Used for downloading apps!

Settings- Just things about the phone

Facetime- Talking to friends face to face with videos

Phone- How you call people

Contacts- self explanatory really

Calculator- How I calculate things when I'm feeling lazy

Compass- Little direction teller

Voice memos-Never really used

Soap and glory favourites!

Hi guys, today I am going to do a mini review on soap and glory, by telling you my soap and glory favorites! I got a lot of soap and glory things for Christmas as gifts so I've really got into soap and glory since then!


Orangeasm body wash

This body was is really nice, it has such a nice orangey, zingy scent which is so good! It also has little bits of orange peel in! This is about £8 to buy in boots which is kind of expensive for a body wash but its good quality!

Whipped clean shower butter

This has a really delicious almondy smell which I really like, it has quite a jelly like texture which is really fun, but sometimes it jumps of your hand while you are closing the lid because of its texture. This is about £8.00 in boots!

A great kisser lip balm 

This lip balm is really good, it is quite glossy so be careful you don't put to much on your finger! It smells like peaches which I love, I also how moisturizing it is! This came in a set so i'm not sure if you can buy it separately but on the soap and glory website is is £5.99!

Clean on me shower cream/wash

This shower gel is really moisturizing and makes my skin really soft it also has such a lovely scent! It has the original 'pink' scent I believe its called. This one is a mini that came in a set but the full size one is about £7.50.

The righteous butter

This butter is AMAZING, or as my friend would say 'the bomb digity!' It sinks into the skin so quickly so I don't feel sticky or greasy after I've applied it and it makes my skin super soft! This is a mini but I have a full size as well! I believe its about £6 to buy.

Sexy mother pucker lip gloss in charm offensive

This lip gloss is really nice, it is really moisturizing and very pigmented! I think it is a really nice shade and is very glossy! I believe it is about £9.50 which isn't bad for a higher end drugstore lip gloss!

Hand food

I have mentioned hand food in a previous post but this hand cream is so good! Its so hydrating especially in the winter because my skin gets quite dry! I have the mini one which was about £2.50 in boots!

Review on Fujifilm Instax Mini 8

Hey Guys!

Today I am gonna do a review of this Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 camera which is basically a Polaroid camera! I got this yellow one for Christmas and I think it is really good!

Here are a few pictures I've taken with it! I write the dates on them with a sharpie to go with my way of displaying them which I'll talk about later. But I think these look really cute and so tumblr! 

In the picture above is how I display my pictures, if you cant see all I do is write the dates on, get a wooden peg (my ones are from thing-me-bobs) and attach them to the string that I have put up above my clock. 

A lot of people restrain from buying these as they say the film is expensive which I sort of agree with because the film is about £10 for ten shots depending where you get it from. However, I think that if you use them carefully and sparingly its not that much. Also, my camera came with 20 shots so if you get packs like that its not to expensive.

The actual camera is about £60 again depicting on where you buy it. My mum got my one from Currys. There is also a range of colors mainly pastels though. There is pastel yellow which I have, pastel pink, pastel blue, white, black and there is also a mint green one that I've seen on instagram.

Brookie recipe!!

Hey Guys,

Today I am going to be sharing a recipe for bookies! If any of you read Lily Pebbles blog you would of seen this, but today I am going to share it with you because I made these the other day and I really like them! They have a really nice texture and they're not to sickly so you can eat quite a few at a time! ;-) This recipe makes quite a lot so if you don't have many people in your family/house maybe half the measurements!

You will need: 

85g good quality cocoa powder

400g caster sugar (I had run out so I just used normal sugar)

125ml vegetable oil

4 eggs

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

60g icing sugar

Instructions:

1.In a bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, caster sugar and vegetable oil. Beat in the eggs one at a time and then mix in the vanilla. Then combine the flour, baking powder and the salt and  stir into the mixture. Cover the dough and put in the fridge for about 4 hours. But if you are in a rush this step is not needed!

2. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees / gas mark 4. Line a baking tray with grease proof paper or parchment. Pour the icing sugar onto a plate, make small balls and coat them in icing sugar to give them a snowy effect when cooked.

3. Cook in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
